Kuent App - Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kuent App, a mobile application operated by Julio Cesar Lopez Ballinas under the brand BLLS Studio ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Kuent App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Kuent App is a personal finance organization tool that allows users to track expenses and income, manage shared expenses with other users, record debts and repayments, create shared groups or accounts, attach receipts and supporting images, and use AI-assisted tools to recognize information from images or audio. Kuent App does not provide banking services, financial advice, or payment processing. All balances and calculations are informational only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials, and notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. User Content

Users may upload or submit content such as profile photos, receipt images, expense-related images, audio recordings used for expense recognition, and expense descriptions. You retain ownership of the content you upload. By submitting content you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and analyze such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

6. Shared Data Between Users

When you join shared accounts or groups, other participants may see your name, your profile photo, and shared expenses or balances.

7. AI-Assisted Features

The App may offer features that analyze images or audio recordings using artificial intelligence. For example, recognizing receipt information from images or extracting expense data from voice messages. Media submitted for AI recognition may be transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing and may not be permanently stored by the App. AI results may contain errors and should be reviewed by the user.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to upload or distribute content that is illegal, pornographic, violent, hateful, infringing intellectual property rights, contains malware, or constitutes spam or harassment. We reserve the right to remove such content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

9. Invitations and Contacts

Users may invite others to join shared groups using email addresses, phone numbers, or contact suggestions from their device. You must only invite individuals who you have permission to contact.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

The App may offer free and paid plans. If subscriptions are offered, payments may be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment processing may also involve third-party providers such as Stripe. We do not store full credit card information.

11. Advertising

The App may display advertising in certain versions. Advertising providers may use device identifiers in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

12. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services including Supabase (backend infrastructure), Stripe (payments), AI providers such as Gemini, analytics systems, and mobile platform services. Use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and content are owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service without permission.

14. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or external service outages.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose security risks. Users may delete their account at any time.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect damages, financial losses related to expense tracking, incorrect calculations, or errors generated by AI recognition.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
