These changes are still in development and may be adjusted before they ship in a published release.

  • Improved the interface on foldable devices and tablets, with stable resolution when opening or closing the device, panels and backgrounds free from distortion or overlap, and correctly aligned chat and input fields after rotation.
  • Completed missing localizations for the new-expense, category/summary, and iOS widget notice tutorials across all launch languages.
  • Clarified password rejections caused by known data breaches with a localized notice explaining that the breach did not occur at Kuent and recommending that users change the password anywhere else it is also used.
  • Improved sharing through WhatsApp and other apps: Kuent no longer forces a phone number or email address and now lets users choose one or more recipients in the selected app, including Quick Split and invitations. Invitations explain who is inviting them, which wallet is being shared, the associated email address or phone number, how to join automatically, and what to do when registering with different information.
  • Fixed medal loading in Character Progression and Achievements so images appear progressively and a slow download no longer blocks the screen.
  • Fixed the Account Details chart during the tutorial so it always retains sample data and never mixes in the user's real information.
  • Added a hidden Demo mode for presentations that lets users explore and modify sample data locally—including expenses, Quick Splits, and Multi Invoice—without affecting the real account. Its preloaded data ends on the current day and places the cutoff seven days later so new records appear at the end of charts; it also includes a clean Quick Split named Sample, with eight color-coded participants, ready to demonstrate a Multi Invoice scan from scratch.
  • Improving visual guides.
  • General bug fixes.
  • Improving general application flow testing.

Latest published release Kuent App 1.0.83 Released 2 changes
  • The interface now adapts at runtime to tablets and foldable phones: it detects transitions between cover and main screens, keeps a single pane in portrait and authentication flows, and uses stable two-pane horizontal transitions in landscape—including replacements such as Select Account, New Expense, and Expense Chats—without distorting Home or its side menu.
  • Fixed the paywall purchase flow: if remote confirmation takes too long, loading is released while Premium reconciliation continues in the background; Restore no longer presents expired purchases as active, and the backend catalog now recognizes Apple subscriptions.
Latest published release Kuent App 1.0.62 Released 6 changes
  • Invitations now correctly recognize accounts by phone number, arrive in Notifications, and prevent duplicate pending participants when the same email address or number is entered again.
  • Fixed Google sign-in on Android so the native plugin remains available in optimized builds.
  • Moved Log out to Settings and added a confirmation step to prevent accidental sign-outs.
  • Added clearer summaries and confirmations when creating expenses, recording income, and saving financial changes.
  • Fixed editing dates, income names, and fund movements from Expense Details.
  • Fixed initial language, phone region, and currency detection on Android/iOS while always respecting manual selections.
Published release Kuent App 1.0.51 Released 9 changes
  • Fixed sign-in and password recovery so password changes are actually saved and the app returns to Login immediately.
  • Fixed extended loading on the paywall and ad recovery for free accounts when transient billing or consent failures occur.
  • Fixed the initial loading of sample data in the Home and Account Details guides, and restored the standalone tutorial for each wallet type.
  • Improved the visual presentation of tutorials to make them clearer and more enjoyable to follow.
  • Improved voice recognition to deliver more accurate results.
  • Added support for the native iOS keyboard.
  • Fixed duplicated text in chats.
  • Expanded the available emoji catalog.
  • Fixed interface layout issues on tablets when switching to landscape mode.
Published release Kuent App 1.0.45 Released 9 changes
  • Fixed border and corner artifacts on rounded buttons, covers, and panels on iPhone and iPad.
  • iOS subscriptions now separate Test Store, Staging, and Production; load prices in Development/Dummy without provider_unavailable; display localized StoreKit/RevenueCat pricing; and keep Supabase as the final authority for Premium status.
  • The subscription screen now selects Family plans correctly and disables incompatible options, preventing the last selected Individual or Couple plan from being displayed or purchased by mistake on both Android and iOS.
  • iOS monetization now uses AdMob and its regional privacy forms before requesting ads, keeps test ads outside Production, and no longer displays an unnecessary ATT/IDFA permission prompt.
  • iOS push notifications now use Firebase per environment, reflect the system’s actual permission state, and distinguish receipt from open events so navigation occurs only when the user taps the notification.
  • Invitation, notification, expense, chat, list, and widget links now open their destinations on iOS through secure Universal Links while preserving the existing in-app fallback.
  • Kuent App now provides native iPhone and iPad widgets for choosing a wallet from the app, opening it, recording expenses, entering chat, or starting scan/voice capture, with private states, secure offline support, and a tutorial adapted to Apple’s widget gallery without showing Android’s pin button.
  • Social sign-in now uses native Sign in with Apple on iOS, with localized copy, a secure nonce, and cancellation without error messages; Google Sign-In remains available on Android.
  • Native iOS permissions and integrations are now requested when each feature is used, with contacts and voice working without lockups, secure biometric unlock, Chat adjusted for the keyboard, localized text, and an iPad sharing fallback.
Published release Kuent App 1.0.21 Released 7 changes
  • Fixed account registration so acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy is recorded during sign-up and is not requested again after email confirmation.
  • Improved tutorials so the overlay and Dummy data persist between chained steps, respond reliably to rapid taps, and allow switching between sample and real data in Home and Account Details; when closed, Home restores the correct list height even for profiles without wallets, and position adjustments for the character/speech bubble plus guide previews in Editor were also added.
  • Strengthened encrypted protection for sensitive text so financial notes cannot be stored in plain text again.
  • Fixed wallet covers so they update correctly after being changed.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the biometric authentication screen from appearing.
  • Updated Subscription Settings to present subscription information more clearly and completely.
  • Added localized tutorials explaining the wallet charts area in Account Details.
Published release Kuent App 1.0.3 Released 70 changes
  • Added versioned records for acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Notice, using the server date and a localized, non-dismissible notice whenever a material update requires renewed acceptance.
  • Improved Release Tools with clear pipelines for rapid code iteration, full builds with content, and clean release/diagnostic builds, including informative hover descriptions.
  • Fixed Android build startup after removing Unity App UI, preserving Firebase Messaging, push notifications, and deep links through the correct native Activity.
  • Updated RevenueCat to remove the Android version flagged for unnecessary API calls and allow publication on Google Play.
  • Prevented Noto fallbacks loaded in Play Mode from being serialized into the main Font Asset and inflating incremental builds; BuildPlayerStep clears those runtime references before packaging.
  • Added a fully local, multilingual Dummy mode for screenshots, videos, and future tutorial previews, with four wallet types, populated charts, general and expense chats, interactive lists, Quick Split, configurable avatars/covers, and a mock login with no server connections.
  • Fixed unlocalized text in Welcome, chat date separators, and the Change action; New List now displays the wallet name.
  • Fixed the calendar so it opens on the first tap and restored the visual guidance for split methods.
  • Localized and sorted phone-prefix selectors by language across registration, verification, and invitations, with flags and search by country, English name, ISO code, or dialing prefix.
  • Temporarily hid the creation of Audited wallets and fixed New Account so Expenses and Budget retain the correct type when a wallet is created.
  • Expanded chat with 275 curated emojis and consistent, safe rendering in drafts and bubbles; the picker replaces the keyboard without covering the composer, uses continuous scrolling with a side rail and fixed icons, includes search and per-profile recents, supports Unicode backspace, and provides a toggle to return to the keyboard while preserving the cursor and draft.
  • Prepared the Subledgers architecture for creating standard child wallets tagged with a parent wallet, automatic fund reflections, and delegated budgets with separate own/delegated balances; it is already enabled in Development for testing.
  • Fixed startup after updates by clearing local Supabase sessions rejected by the backend and retrying minimum-version verification, preventing the app from getting stuck before Home/Login.
  • Added safe-area reservation without displaying ads on screens that had no banner slot, keeping Should Show Banner disabled to preserve their ad-free behavior.
  • Connected Ledger Settings so the owner can rename a wallet and change its cutoff day with localized confirmation.
  • Fixed account/ledger deletion to prevent feed failures during deletion and visual errors caused by image loads that finish after the screen has closed.
  • Added an initial fund-activity view in Account Details, with a cumulative income/expense chart by period, axis indicators, category bars, known future movements, dotted projections, incremental backend aggregates to avoid full recalculation, and a temporary playtest fallback while the Data API does not yet provide the new summary.
  • Fixed Recent Activity in Account Details so newly recorded expenses and fund income no longer appear twice.
  • Added an optional visual panel for Just Expenses wallets in Account Details, featuring a participant-based net candlestick chart that combines paid, consumed, and net balance; round avatars; axis indicators; a personal counterparty list; a configurable participant limit; current-user-first plus descending open-net ordering; and deferred remote loading only while the panel is active.
  • Reduced the Android download size by about 29% by separating screens, fonts, and shared UI into Addressables; removing unused dependencies; optimizing atlases/textures and stripping; removing duplicate Arial; moving tooling out of Resources; excluding SRDebugger from Production; and disabling the Unity logo without losing Noto coverage or 32-bit device compatibility.
  • Added local/offline Quick Split for dividing express expenses without Supabase, with local participants, expenses, balances, settlements, and SMS sharing.
  • Integrated Quick Split into Home with dedicated records, a local dashboard, permanent deletion with confirmation, and per-profile JSON persistence isolated on the device.
  • Added Multi Invoice to turn receipts/invoices with multiple items into assignable expenses for a ledger or Quick Split, with a Pro scan limit, high-resolution image validation for receipts, price selection with/without tip, direct/shared assignment per item, a new per-person assignment view, quick/guided filling, receipts visible and attachable in expense details, and replacement of the legacy scan in shortcuts.
  • Fixed shared assignment in Multi Invoice so the participant subpanel no longer blocks or truncates scrolling, the label is localized, quantity/blocker controls work correctly, the Next button looks disabled when data is missing but still shows the first error, and toggles retain their visual state when the tip changes.
  • Completed missing translations and fixed broken encodings in localized text for Quick Split, Multi Invoice, progression, achievements, account activity, account pending items, panel/post-registration guides, app sounds, new wallet, filters, budgets, in-transit items, pending invitations, debt/settlements, minimum version, Pro/To Do toasts, expense/balance tutorials, phone, subscriptions, ad privacy, third-person balance status, Paid/Consumed balances, account settings, email formats, expense categories, and totals across all launch languages.
  • Fixed initial language, currency, and phone-prefix preselection based on the system’s native region without requesting location permission, while preserving valid user choices, migrating the legacy USD fallback when it was not an explicit choice, and aligning the visible currency catalog with backend support.
  • Added localized tutorials for Quick Split, Multi Invoice scanning, and audio recording to fill invoices; fixed activation/reset so they trigger through navigation and do not mix across wallets on the same device; and added a temporary skip that redirects to the Help-button tutorial.
  • Added plan-based monetization with banners for free users, rewarded videos for chat/expense/income grants and enhanced Account Details charts, UMP ad consent before any ad request with a visible option to change the decision, ad exclusion for effectively premium users, Pro limits for Multi Invoice scans/voice recording, and real Android AdMob configuration for Production while retaining test ads in Development/Staging.
  • Improved voice recording so it does not consume the Pro/free quota twice, displays limits correctly, prefills name/notes/payer/split more consistently, keeps names and notes in the audio language, treats the fund as the default for generic purchases/payments, shows the participant when an equal split has a single responsible person, avoids splits without an explicit division, and preserves these values when payer/split screens are opened.
  • Added fallback and monitoring for Gemini models used by Multi Invoice and voice recording, reducing the risk of interruptions caused by deprecation or primary-model outages.
  • Consolidated Kuent Score as a progression system with faster levels, localized tiers, multiline tier phrases, cached achievement medals inside character progress, a localized launch catalog of achievements for core features, achievement boosts, daily organic score from real app actions, an advance animation from the last viewed level, a new-level popup, and stackable floating feedback when score is earned—while keeping score neither spendable currency nor an ad reward.
  • Fixed synchronization of achievements that were already completed/claimed to prevent repeated unlocks at sign-in, and strengthened startup to avoid state errors during shutdown, reload, or initial catalog loading.
  • Fixed Account Settings so it loads and edits the username with explicit saving, displays the associated email/phone, opens phone changes on a dedicated screen, assigns available numbers without SMS, requests an OTP only for reserved numbers or numbers already claimed by another profile, refreshes repeated avatar changes correctly, and opens the web account-deletion flow from the dedicated button.
  • Adjusted sign-up to honor email confirmation in Production: when registration remains pending, it shows a localized email-sent popup and returns to Login, while the confirmation link uses a secure mobile callback that reopens Kuent instead of ending on a 404 page. The phone field now uses a virtualized international-prefix selector instead of manual entry; when a phone number is provided, Home links it directly if available or opens OTP verification if reserved/disputed, shows a message only after sending the OTP, blocks resend with a countdown, confirms success with a popup, and lets the user exit, remember later, or verify now before linking it to the profile.
  • Added achievements for protecting a wallet and pinning a widget, recorded only after confirmed actions, and fixed the wallet privacy toggle.
  • Fixed Android widget actions and push-notification taps with deep links so opening Kuent navigates to the requested ledger, ledger or expense chat, expense details, in-transit items, lists, invitation inbox, new expense, scan, or voice flow. This includes FCM taps when restoring the app from the background, prevents chat from remaining blocked by a Realtime timeout, avoids a second push sound when entering from a notification, and uses a more Huawei-compatible Android notification channel for notification audio.
  • Adjusted invitation reminders so they resend the alert without stacking duplicate instances of the same invitation in the inbox.
  • Added audio effects for character progress, level-ups, achievement claims, and error toasts, plus brief vibration when errors are shown, while preserving existing achievement and tutorial sounds.
  • Fixed long-toast layout so the background adapts to localized runtime text, and validatable fields now show a toast naming the affected field with the same localized error displayed below the input.
  • Added a pilot native-input component assignable by prefab/Inspector for the chat message field on Android/iOS, intended to improve text editing, cursor movement, selection, emoji, and copy/paste, with a reusable component for future long-text fields.
  • Blocked the Back action while the loading screen is active to prevent accidental navigation during loading or saving.
  • Unified the paywall to use localized App Store/Google Play prices in store builds, restore and manage subscriptions through their provider, cap waits for RevenueCat callbacks so a missing response cannot leave loading active indefinitely, block Stripe Checkout inside the app except for officially enabled regional programs, and preserve Stripe web/legacy, shared Premium, and promotions under Supabase authority.
  • Strengthened minimum-version checks per platform to send Android users to Google Play and keep iOS/Huawei users on the download page while their stores are still being prepared, without blocking test builds before launch.
  • Hardened Supabase/RLS and Android permissions before launch: the anonymous API is limited to a public allowlist, financial views respect RLS, internal helpers/RPCs can no longer be invoked without a session, and historical sensitive text is encrypted and removed from legacy columns, while preserving intended public profiles/achievements and technical access to the user’s own profile.
  • Expanded the pooling system to support dynamic UI lists, virtualization, and runtime use by prefab.
  • Optimized contact lists with pooling, virtualization, search debounce, and a synthetic Editor test fixture, and fixed loading of the Android contacts plugin in minified builds.
  • Added localized recent activity per wallet in Account Details, with editable records by type, manual refresh, and non-blocking loading with a visual indicator.
  • Fixed remote data refresh so changes to expenses, income, balances, settlements, participants, lists, and chats are reflected through local events and push/notification signals without restarting the app.
  • Fixed creation of fund-paid expenses so the wallet balance refreshes after returning from save and backend synchronization of the expense no longer depends on free-text notes.
  • Clarified the state of pending fund movements in activity/history so they do not appear to affect the balance before approval.
  • Fixed expense creation to prevent errors when opening the split selector before initialization has finished and when using ledgers with currencies not supported by remote financial operations.
  • Fixed Account Details to prevent errors when refreshing balance text before wallet data has been received.
  • Added complete activity history per wallet, with the wallet title/cover, automatic type/date filters, prefiltered access for expenses and fund movements, pagination in groups of 20, and a non-blocking first batch with a visual indicator. Fund history now uses fund transactions as its base, includes expenses that affect the fund and approved settlements paid to the fund as income, and displays the resulting balance impact.
  • Added links from activity records to chat, lists, in-transit movements, and expense details; expense chats opened from activity now display the expense’s actual name.
  • Added a per-wallet pending-items screen with unread messages, approvals for audited income/expenses, and pending settlements grouped by section. It now hides sections that do not apply to the wallet type and uses specific labels such as “Approvals (Expenses)” to prevent confusion.
  • Adjusted Home to open character progress directly, close the side menu with the system Back action, and show only invitations—with the inviter’s name when available—in its global inbox/counter, leaving messages and approvals inside each wallet’s pending items.
  • Added a remote financial-detail screen for fund expenses and income: expenses retain split/payer/receipt/chat information and show who created the movement, while direct income from the feed or history can be opened and edited with income category, amount, date, name/notes, and balance/feed refresh.
  • Added an option to delete/void expenses from the detail view: in audited wallets it creates an approvable request in Pending, while other wallet types automatically update the balance, feed, and notifications.
  • Improved amount entry to accept either a period or comma as the decimal separator, display thousands/millions separators according to culture, show a localized toast when there are too many decimal places, and send clean numeric values for expenses, income, payments, Quick Split, and Multi Invoice.
  • Localized the push-notification notice and delayed it until Home regains focus so it does not interrupt the initial tutorial. App Settings now lets users enable/disable notifications and app audio, and remote push dispatch from Supabase was fixed.
  • Fixed Google sign-in in minified Android builds to prevent the app from closing before authentication completes, and strengthened the initial loading of the available profile name, email, avatar, and phone number.
  • Adjusted ledger-expense visibility so all active members can view activity, history, details, and chat even when they are not financially included in the expense.
  • Fixed remote financial operations so fund income is recorded as fund transactions, accepts income categories, updates the balance automatically in Common/Budget wallets, and remains pending in Audited wallets. Audited approvals/rejections, settlement votes, and auto-approved payments to/from the fund now affect debt and balance exactly once under RLS.
  • Reorganized settlement screens to clearly show who owes/pays whom, localized states, debt-explained history, approval/rejection from In Transit, and consistent Smart/Direct behavior when calculating the pair’s status.
  • Adapted the new-expense flow by wallet type: Common/Audited/Budget use the fund as the default payer and split responsibility to record an outcome without creating debt between users; Common/Audited still allow changing the payer/split; Just Expenses retains the current flow; and saving avoids RPC ambiguity.
  • Added a notice when users try to create expenses, start Multi Invoice, or open chat in a wallet without other confirmed participants, with direct access to invite people and an option not to show it again. Participants now also displays pending invitations with Remind or Delete buttons without making them selectable in expenses, and automatically returns to Participants after an invitation is sent.
  • Added contextual navigation in chats: the ledger chat can open a list of expenses with active chats, provides separate access to expenses without active chat, and an expense chat can return to the ledger chat.
  • Reduced remote load by removing the legacy recent feed from Home, using a lightweight notification counter, correcting the feed limit to 15 requests per minute, preventing self-notifications, and cleaning up analytics through batching, grouped navigation, normalized events, and less internal noise.
  • Added actionable launch analytics instrumentation for feature blocks, prompts, paywall/checkout failures, invitations/sharing, Multi Invoice scan/save, approvals, notification actions, and navigation/deep-link errors, with summarized payloads that contain no PII and can feed operational dashboards.
  • Prepared strong server-side encryption for chats, lists, notes/free text, and receipts; upload/download and conversion of legacy receipts now preserve encrypted private files, and phone verification by OTP is available per environment while push and analytics remain functional with sensitive-data redaction.
